Baker
Tokey’s Treats is looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented baker to join our growing team. This position is unconventional — most training will be done virtually via Zoom, and the role will require a high level of independence and responsibility. You’ll be responsible for baking, preparing, and maintaining inventory for our hemp cookie business.
Job Description
Key Duties:

Bake all cookie flavors per provided recipes and SOP

Prep, portion, and freeze dough for events

Keep kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health/safety rules

Book kitchen time (min. 5 hrs/month) and coordinate schedule with Aaliyah
-
Track inventory and report low supplies

Communicate any production/scheduling issues promptly

Attend bi-weekly Zoom check-ins & monthly team meetings

Requirements

Baking experience (professional or home-based)
-
Ability to follow strict vegan & gluten-free recipes
-
Reliable transportation to Homewood kitchen (Pittsburgh)

Strong communication skills & adherence to SOP

Zoom + internet access for virtual training

Updated fingerprints & background check (daycare-shared kitchen)

Valid ServSafe Manager’s Certificate
Compensation: $300 a Month
